At Full Disclosure we have all the right tools, expertise and reliable local sources necessary to gather business intelligence that will place you in the informed position that you want to be in. If you are considering making a significant domestic or overseas investment, wish to screen vendors, suppliers or key employees, or need to assess a potential partners’s environmental, social and governance credentials, we can produce investigative due diligence reports on the companies and individuals involved.
Our reports are designed to verify identities, build a picture of past and present business interests, discover social and political affiliations, report allegations of wrongdoing, and offer an overview of public reputation.
In addition to pre-transactional due diligence, we are also able to provide informational assistance with litigation, arbitration and other disputes, and can assist with asset tracing efforts.
Our approach
Our analysts make use of a wide variety of publicly available information in English and any other language relevant to the subject of the investigation. This includes company filings, public records, legal documents and material drawn from specialised databases, as well as news reports and features from a comprehensive range of local, national and international media outlets. When required, we can also make discreet enquiries using well-placed local sources, such as journalists and experts working in relevant industries.
Once we have completed our enquiries we present our findings in a user-friendly format. We do not fill our reports with superfluous information but instead focus resources on presenting the most relevant and useful intelligence, with the aim of helping you to satisfy regulatory requirements and improving your ability to make informed decisions.
Where we cover
Due diligence services
Level One Enhanced Due Diligence Investigations
Level One investigations focus on uncovering clear evidence of compliance risks or red flags relating to the subjects’ operations, reputation and character. Investigations are conducted in English and all relevant local languages, and look at all necessary jurisdictions. Information is drawn from corporate registries, legal records, leading compliance databases and a broad range of local, national and international news sources.
The final reports contain: information on the subject’s background and corporate interests, political exposure, source of wealth, inclusion on national and international sanctions and watchlists, involvement in litigation and derogatory media information.
Level Two Enhanced Due Diligence Investigations
Level Two investigations cover publicly available sources in all relevant languages. Analysts verify the subjects’ credentials, examine their public reputation and investigate specific allegations, aiming for an exhaustive study of all potential risks. The research is conducted in greater depth than in Level One reports, and the final reports include more context and analysis of sources.
Level Two Plus Enhance Due Diligence Investigations
Full Disclosure’s Level Two Plus investigations are similar to Level Two reports but provide a more complete picture by expanding research beyond publicly available sources. Our analysts conduct interviews with well-placed and objective sources in order to gain additional knowledge and understanding of specific issues of concern. Sources would include journalists, public officials and professionals working in relevant industries.
Full Disclosure also arranges for investigators to conduct inquiries in person to uncover information not available remotely, for example by visiting public offices or law courts to access records.
All such enquiries are carried out with maximum discretion.
Market overviews
Regional risk reports
We can provide detailed and up-to-date overviews of a country or region, highlighting available opportunities and potential social, political, security and economic dangers.
Sector-specific risk reports
In order to provide a background for assessing opportunities in new markets, we can conduct research into the state of a specific industry or sector overseas. We take a risk-focused approach to such issues as potential demand, existing competition, government policy and incentives.
News monitoring and political analysis
We offer comprehensive news monitoring, ranging from high-level analysis of issues at a national and regional level to reviews of events related to specific topics. Our seasoned analysts keep track of print and broadcast media, social media and other sources, ensuring that news is separated from noise. We provide user-friendly summaries either as one-off reports or as regular briefings.
In addition, our country and regional specialists are on-hand to provide comprehensible analysis of current affairs, as well as of wider political, social, cultural and economic dynamics. Our aim is to ensure that our clients feel confident that they understand the places where they operate, benefiting from unbiased observations and assessments.
Urgent and bespoke reports
We are very conscious that nobody knows your business better than you do and are happy to provide reports to suit specific requirements not covered by our standard packages.
When time is of the essence we can conduct research and present our findings in a short timeframe. We will supply a succinct summary that can later be expanded into a more complete picture if required.
